Top help bring the final season of Netflix's YOU to life in NYC, the Invisible North team created an immersive, escape room-style launch event. We flipped a lower Manhattan event space to resemble Mooney's, the show's iconic bookstore, and invited guests to step in and find their way out of it. Through a system of codes within shelved books, a secret pathway could be unlocked, ultimately exposing the hideout and workspace of Joe, YOU's primary anti-hero.
As the sole spatial designer, I worked heavily with the production team to determine what venue was right for the YOU S5 launch. Once awarded, I helped translate an already robust, approved creative theme and programmatic flow into our final space.
